Can I download a movie on Playvod?

Your top streaming site, Playvod, allows you to download a movie online to watch later, whether offline or with an internet connection. Discover how to enjoy the legal download of movies and series and make the most of our Video on Demand service anytime, anywhere, 24/7, wherever you go!

You can legally download a movie or series from the Playvod application. Our application is free. Search for "Playvod" in the download platforms: PlayStore/GoogleStore if you have an Android smartphone or tablet and in the AppStore if you have an iPhone or Apple tablet (iPad). Click on "Install/Download" and log in.

There are two possibilities depending on your situation:

1. If you are a Playvod subscribed customer: Access our entire Video on Demand (VOD) catalog through our application after logging in. Choose the movie to download for offline viewing. You can download multiple movies. However, please note that not all of our VOD content is available for download. Click on the film's description page, and a "Download" button will indicate whether the video can be downloaded.
2. If you are not yet a Playvod customer: Movie downloads are possible through our online film rental service without a subscription.

In both cases, you can find movies to download using the search bar and our category directories.

The downloaded movies are saved within our Playvod application and not in the memory of your smartphone or tablet. This is the principle of video-on-demand services as part of streaming and the foundation of renting movies without a subscription.

Log in to your Playvod account using the app. Click on the 'Downloads' tab. Here, you will find your recently downloaded movies. Select the video you want and start watching by clicking the 'Play' button.

When you choose to download a movie online using our application, it:

• Remains available for 30 days in the 'Downloads' tab of your Playvod app as long as the movie playback hasn't started.
• Remains available for 48 hours in this tab once playback has been initiated.

Whether you are a Playvod customer or not, the functionality is the same. For Playvod customers, the main advantage is unlimited movie downloads and credits offered for watching new and recent films.
